We're Getting Mutants in the MCU - The Loop

The Auction House system is the main way in which items change hands in ArcheAge. It allows players to post almost any non quest item for a price(Copper, Silver, Gold) of their choosing. However, all players can see these auctions and it can become very competitive.

Where do I find it?

Auctionicon.png Auctioneers can be located on the map by their icon- a bag surrounded by coins.
They are also often found in hubs with portals to Mirage Isle.

Patrons have access to the Auction House everywhere and they can access it via the Convenience Menu in the bottom-right of the screen.

Using the Auction House

As mentioned, all tradeable can be bought or sold on the Auction House. To find what you want, you can navigate either by searching the categories on the left hand side of the "Bid" menu or search more specifically by level requirement, item rarity, or name. You can even combine the two.

Once you have found an item that interests you, you can place a bid, or "Buy now". Most items have a certain price you can "Buy Now" for. Some Sellers do not list their item with a "Buy Now" price, therefore forcing you to place a bid. If your bid is the highest at the end of the auction, the item will be mailed to you. Or, if you simply bought it, it will take out the amount of money it costed from your money, and the item will instantly be mailed to you. You can obtain the item by checking your mail through the Post Owl, and right clicking the item.

You must either have patron status or buy an auction license from the marketplace to use the auction house to sell items. When posting an item on the auction house a fee must be payed to create the transaction. The price depends on the asking price/buyout and duration of the posting. If the item did not sell in the selected interval the item will be delivered to the user in the mail, while also losing the payed fee. If the item did sell the auction house keeps 10% (or 5% if the character is a patron) of the charge but will return the initial fee.
