A status effect is a temporary modification to a game character’s original set of stats and attributes that usually comes into play when skills are used. Beneficial effects are referred to as buffs, and hindering effects are called debuffs. [1] This page currently lists all debuffs, and the combos directly associated with them.

Purge and Mirror Light
The skills Purge (Witchcraft) and Mirror Light (Vitalism) can remove any player-inflicted debuff and most monster-inflicted debuffs. If the targeted ally is inflicted with more than 1 removable debuff, the debuff removed will be chosen at random. Purge and Mirror Light cannot remove debuffs that are part of game mechanics, such as the Rough Winds or Wanted debuffs.
